Acid Skin and Alkaline Blood

How much do you know about Acid and Alkaline?

Acid contains large number of hydrogen ions. The more hydrogen ions a type of food contains, the more acidic it is. Therefore, to determine the food acidity or alkalinity, we calculate the number of hydrogen ions using a logarithm known as PH, which stands for "
Hydrogen ion concentration in solution to the Power of 10x a number".

Your Skin PH

Secretions from the sweat, sebaceous glands and protein coating of the skin form the acid mantle. The PH value of this protecting coating is between 5.0-5.6. If the mantle is damaged by anything more acid or alkaline then this, skins becomes more to dryness or oiliness, infection and aging or takes on an uneven texture.

External and Internal Factors that Cause Skin Damage:
  • over expose to sunlight
  • excessive perspiration
  • cosmetics
  • poor skin hygiene
  • digestive upset
  • health problems
  • imbalanced acid and alkaline diet

How is your skin?

Sallow, oily, flaky and inflammatory skin is often an early sign of some internal imbalance or illness. Take early precaution, watch and protect your skin. Live your life to the full!
